What Can I Expect?
Free Brekky – 9:15am
We start the day with a free breakfast for everyone that includes fresh fruit, cereal, juice, hot drinks, toast, as well as some assortment of pancakes, waffles, or mini omelettes. This can be eaten anywhere you feel comfortable, we have chairs set up inside and stools with benchtops available in the outdoor entrance area.
Worship Service – 10:00am
A worship service at RTM Church consists of three main elements.
Praise & Worship | Sermon Presentation | Mission Focus
Praise & Worship –
Church begins with our worship team leading the church in music, song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. During this time, you can expect stories for kids, prayer, scripture reading, and an offering time for those who wish to pay tithe or make a donation to the community services offered by RTM Church. There is no obligation to make any donation, and no expectations for you either.
Sermon Presentation –
One of our pastors or guest speakers will share a message based on the scriptures in the Bible and give an encouraging word of hope and faith, centred around Jesus Christ.
Mission Focus –
This a short segment when we share some of the exciting events happening at RTM Church and how you can get involved if you would like to.
Discussion Groups: 11:45am
During our Discussion Groups we split into smaller groups to discuss the Bible and the sermon presentation. This time is especially good for anyone who has questions and is a helpful period for building healthy relationships with new friends.
There are a few options during this time as well.
The Sermon Debrief –
One of our discussion groups that dives deeper in the Sermon Presentation from earlier in the day. All are welcome as this is a great way to learn more about that day’s message.
The Adult Sabbath School –
This discussion group is based on a Bible study curriculum that has a new theme every three months, and daily readings throughout the week. It is an excellent way to get to know the Bible better and study with a group of other believers.
The Youth Study –
This is for our younger visitors from aged 15 to 25. This group plans other events throughout the week for those interested in social events, camping, surfing, 4×4’s, outdoor fun, and making new friends.
The Kids Study –
This group is for our children to have fun and learn about God’s love in a safe, structed, learning environment. For ages 5 to 14, this group often starts with songs and games, then studies a story from the Bible, and usually ends with a creative craft to take home at the end of the day.
The Discovery Group –
We also have our Discovery Group for anyone who wants to learn more about what the Bible has to say about their own lives and how the Scriptures apply to their current experience. This is a great group for anyone who is new to church and wants to learn more about God for themselves.
Free Lunch – 12:45pm
After church, you may have worked up an appetite by now, so we have a free lunch available that features incredible vegetarian food that is both delicious and healthy. All are welcome to join, there is plenty for everyone.
(COVID-19 Update: Unfortunately, lunch is not available at this time, but brekky is still happening)

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT RTM CHURCH?
Saturday’s at RTM Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. We have a good time and we want you to as well. Just dress however you feel comfortable, we have people who wear shorts and t-shirts, as well as some who enjoy more formal attire.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that kids should have a great time at church every single week. At RTM Church we try to make this a priority every Saturday. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. During the Worship Service there is a fun kid’s area with colouring pages and activities to use during this time as well.
